At Norsk Tindesenter you will find modern and interactive exhibits about the Norwegian climbing and mountaineering history from the first ascent of Romsdalshorn in 1828 up until today, The exhibit has several interactive stations, educational videos, historical pictures as well as fun activites to try.

One of Norways highest indoor climbingwalls

The climbinghall in Åndalsnes is one of the countries highest and most modern indoor climbinghalls. Here you`ll find 60 different climbing routes for novice as well as professional climbers. The main wall offers climbing up to 21 meters. There is also a bouldering area with overhang, as well as a boulderingcave for little kids.

Spectacular movie theatre

The movie theatre at Norsk Tindesenter is one of its kind in the world. The screen itself is 3D and simulates a rock wall. The movie shows popular outdoor activities to be done in the Romsdal valley. The story has also an animated storyline inspired by Norwegian folklore, which is sure to keep everyone interested for 15 minutes!

Cafe and resturant

The cafe and restaurant offers good dining at affordable prices. The meny is based on fresh and local ingredients. The restaurant accomodates 80 people inside, with additional seating outside, directly on the waterfront of Romsdalsfjord.
